Una experiencia sensorial

El objetivo de la instalación OVO es ofrecer un objeto de arte multi-sensorial al cual se le añade una dimensión lumínica que juega con la luz y animaciones acústico-visuales.
Asociaciones simbólicas brincan a la mente, sugiriendo vínculos de ideas universales como embarazo, nacimiento, florecimiento o la perfección de un capullo protegido y reguardado.
Al visitante lo invitan a pasear sobre agua para llegar al interior, como para desaparecer entre una neblina mística. La superficie acuosa refleja la forma del huevo, la iluminación y las siluetas de las personas que dan vida a la escultura con su pasaje.
Visto desde el interior da la sensación de intensidad, de ser arrastrado hacia el cielo, lo que destaca el dinamismo que transmite las formas de la estructura.
Esta instalación fue presentada en el Festival de Iluminación de Lyon, Francia en Diciembre del 2010. El 31 de Marzo del 2011 se inauguró la instalación permanente en el Foro Marmara de Estambul, Turquía; y en Junio del mismo año participó el Festival de la Luz de Jerusalén, un evento fascinante de diseño lumínico que tuvo lugar en la Ciudad Vieja de Jerusalén.

A sensory experience

The purpose of the installation OVO is to offer a multi-sensory art object to which a dimension of a luminous event is added, provided by the plays of light and the visual and acoustic animations.
Symbolic associations' spring to the mind, suggesting the universality linked to ideas of birth, hatching or blooming, unity, and perfection of a cocoon.
The visitor is invited to walk on the water to reach the interior, as if to vanish into a metaphysical mist. The watery surface reflects the egg-like sculpture, the lighting, and also the silhouettes of the visitors who bring the surface to life by their passage.
Seen from inside the sense of intensity, of being drawn towards the sky, underlines the dynamism conveyed by the forms of the structure.
OVO was initially presented at La Fête des Lumières, December 2010 in Lyon, France.
By 31st of March 2011, the first permanent installation of OVO was unveiled at Marmara Forum, Istanbul, Turkey. In June this year OVO also participated in the "Jerusalem Light Festival 2011", a fascinating event in the field of light design taking place in the Old City of Jerusalem.
